The CIM Level 3 Foundation Certificate aims to equip you with the skills, knowledge and understanding to perform professionally in a support-level marketing role. You will develop a good understanding of the wider role of marketing and how your practical skills can be applied to future career progression.
Who is it for?
It is aimed at those either in a job that already involves marketing or those who wish to find out about marketing with the intention of starting out on a marketing career.
Assessment methods are employer-driven, practitioner-based and appropriate for business needs and involve both an online multiple choice exam and an assignment.
The CIM Level 3 Foundation Certificate in Marketing at The Met
Marketing Principles (mandatory module).
Presents the key concepts and terminology used in marketing. This module gives you a knowledge and understanding of the role and function of marketing within organisations and explores the factors that can influence consumer behaviour.
Delivery: Week commencing 18th September 2017 – week commencing 27th November 2017
Assessment: Multiple choice exam on 5th December 2017
Digital Essentials (elective module)
Provides an understanding of what is meant by digital marketing and the key communication tools used in a digital campaign.
Delivery: Week commencing 8th January 2018 – week commencing 19th March 2018
Assessment: Assignment submitted week commencing 26th March 2018

The programmes are taught in English. If English is not your first language, you will also need to provide evidence of at least IELTS Academic Module (6.5)/ Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English (Grade B) achieved within the last two years.
