Our foundation course will prepare you for degree level study, with the opportunity for you to develop your art and design practice - as you consider specialist degree courses across the full range of all the universities in UK and Ireland. The course has the added benefit of being FREE, carries between 165 and 285 tariff points and will not restrict you to one university choice. The course consists of three stages. Stage 1: Exploratory, Stage 2: Pathway and Stage 3: Confirmatory, are structured to help you make progression decisions and prepare you for the level of independence required at degree level. Regular assessment and supportive feedback assist the progression of each student. The development of a distinctive portfolio of art work for progression interview is an essential feature. Emphasis is given to UCAS applications through individualised mentoring and pastoral care.

Requirements are pre-defined by the College’s admissions criteria. Selection for the course is based on both presentation of a portfolio of work and having achieved the required academic qualifications of one GCE A Level (normally art related) and five GCSEs at grades A-C (including English and Maths).
All fees are set in accordance with DfE regulations.
