The ECDL course covers the key concepts of computing, its practical applications, and its use in the workplace and society in general.

The course contains seven modules:
• IT Security for Users
• Using the Computer and Managing Files
• Word Processing
• Spreadsheets
• Presentations
• Web Browsing
• Improving Productivity
Assessment
Students will be required to take a 45 minute exam for each module.

This course is designed to give employers and job-seekers an international standard against which to measure Information Technology competence. The ECDL course is designed for those using Information Technology at work or at home who require a qualification which covers a broad range of Information Technology skills.
