Working with Schools

Belfast Met collaborates with schools and educational organisations throughout the year to provide exciting opportunities for young people aged 14 – 19 years. Students can enrol in specific courses or participate in workshops, competitions and events across a broad range of subjects relevant to their curriculum - To equip them with the knowledge, skills, and aspirations that will motivate them to pursue a fulfilling and enduring career of their choice.

Future Skills Development for Teachers

Throughout our Schools Partnerships, we have developed an understanding of the support required to strengthen the skills and abilities of staff teams within the schools, and as a result, have identified a number of learning and training opportunities that may be of benefit to staff either as part of an ALC request or in collaboration with others schools/ALC’s.
Belfast Met’s Continuous Professional Development for Teachers offering is premised on a capacity building rationale where skills of academic and support staff can be developed by sharing training opportunities in a professional and trusted learning environment.
