Art students in the Victoria and Albert Museum

BMC Staff and students on the Foundation Diploma Art and Design course at Castlereagh Campus recently visited London as part of their studies.  They made visits to the Victoria and Albert museum, Tate modern, Tate Britain and the National portrait gallery.

The trip also coincided with a visit by art students from South West College which allowed both groups to meet and share ideas and experiences

Course tutor, Sam Fleming said,  ‘ This visit is a valuable addition to students experience.  It allows them to gain first hand experience of great works of art and design and enhance their portfolios for University application’.

The students spent two days in the city and it is hoped that the success of the visit will pave the way for similar projects in the future.
